Exploring 10.5 acres of inspiring gardens or walking in the beautiful countryside around Hidcote can build up an appetite. To keep your energy levels up why not pop into Winthrop’s Café, situated within the gardens, and choose from our selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks?
Staying safe at Winthrop's Café
You may notice that Winthop’s is looking a little different at the moment: we have implemented a one-way system within the café and ask that you follow all signs and markings when visiting, and please use the hand sanitiser provided upon entering the café area.
We are supporting the NHS track and trace system.
Please be aware that at this time we are unable to accept keep cups or refill personal drink containers.
If you have any allergies, please speak with a member of staff at the till and they can assist you with the product information.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to offer the service of warming any liquids such as baby milk.
Visitors to Winthrop's Café have to pay the normal admission fee and book to visit in advance. We look forward to welcoming you back and know that you’ll support us to make this a safe experience for everyone. You can take a look at our food and drink FAQs by clicking here.
Picnicking at Hidcote
If you're bringing your own picnic, you'll find a picnick area beside car-park under the lime avenue. Please note: only food purchased at Winthrop's Café is to be eaten within the garden.
