About Ismore Coppice Campground
Ismore Coppice Campground is on the edge of the National Trust's Attingham Park estate. This simple, informal site, on the banks of the River Severn is popular with canoeists as it offers access directly onto the river. There is a natural grassy landing area where boats can be hauled out before setting up camp. Further up the field is the main camping area with a woodland backdrop. There are composting toilets, a water standpipe and a fire pit. It's possible to access the area by car, with parking 30 metres from the camping field.
The camping field is a mile, as the crow flies, from heart of the Attingham Park estate with its 18th-century mansion, walled garden, woodland and deer park. It's also home to a popular cafe and shop which are open year round.
