Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions about Crom campsite.
There is no shop available at Crom Estate. The nearest food shop is located in Newtownbutler which is approximately 3 miles away.
Newtownbutler is the nearest village to Crom estate and further afield is Enniskillen approximately 18 miles to the north.
At Crom Little Orchard Tea Room serves a range of delicious meals including homemade specials, soups, sandwiches, paninis and salads to name but a few, as well as a range of both hot and cold drinks. Open 11am – 4pm.
There is cash machine at the local petrol station in Newtownbutler – 3 miles away.
Yes pitches and pods can be booked online.
Crom is a dog-friendly campsite and all well-behaved dogs are welcome at no additional charge. They must be kept on a lead at all times and exercised away from other campers. Please pick up after your dogs right away.
Parking is not allowed on the camping area; however there is free car parking within easy reach.
Yes, showers cost £1 for 10 minutes.
The Crom Estate is teeming with wildlife, has numerous walks and offers Boat & Bike Hire so that you can explore the slow meandering section of Upper Lough Erne. There are also different activities available on site, please enquire in the Visitor Centre for more information.
Crom is a fishing paradise, Fermanagh offers some of the best coarse fishing in Northern Ireland. Fishing permits are required to fish on Lough Erne, if you do not have a permit you can purchase 3 and 14 day permits from the Visitor Reception.
Due to the limited amount of pitches we can only accept tents.
There is a tumble dryer available on the site. You can purchase tokens from the Visitor Centre Reception during it’s opening hours.
Alight 3 miles from the estate in Newtownbutler – this runs from Enniskillen to Clones (connections from Belfast).
Yes we accept most credit and debit cards. Please note the Little Orchard Tearoom does not accept card payments.
The campsite is open from March until October.
Family and friend groups are only accepted with prior agreement but our site is not suitable for stag, hen or birthday parties.
All group bookings must be made via the booking office and cannot be made online. Call 028 6773 8118.
Barbecues are permitted; please ensure they are raised from the ground. No campfires permitted except in the designated communal campfire area.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an responsible adult. Bookings can only be taken from those over the age of 18.
A simple campsite on the shores of Lough Erne on the Crom estate, with tent pitches and stone pods. Visit the ruins and ancient trees, and walk, cycle or hire a boat to explore its diverse habitats.
