About Cragside Park Cottage

A fine example of a Victorian Arts and Crafts style house, Cragside Park Cottage makes for a pretty stay amid the sweeping parklands of the Cragside estate. It’s full of character inside with wood-panelled walls, antique furnishings and a pretty formal dining room. From its front rooms you’ll have window views of the Coquet Valley and the Simonside Hills.

Head out into the heart of the estate and stroll through the hilly woodlands and formal gardens. As a guest you’re invited to explore the main Victorian house free of charge. Many events take place here throughout the year, from conservation talks to Victorian baking sessions.

If you’re a keen golfer, Rothbury golf club and its town are less than a 10 minute drive. Explore a little further to the east and you’ll come to the wild Northumberland Coast. Discover this beautiful and dramatic coastline before heading to the coast for fish and chips.
