In the heart of the Cotswolds, this snug, period cottage and courtyard garden is perfect for couples.Sherborne West Lodge is a semi-detached former lodge cottage built at the turn of the century. It’s small and snug but perfect for couples. Elegant décor runs throughout the cottage and period features such as the fireplaces add a little historic charm. There’s an enclosed courtyard garden to the rear too and it’s dog-friendly too.
Enjoy a cup of coffee in the garden before heading off to explore one of the many walking routes that criss-cross the Sherborne estate. At certain times of year, the estate is blanketed by flowers, snowdrops in winter and bluebells in spring.
With your position in the heart of the Cotswolds. You are ideally placed to explore this beautiful area. The town of Stow-on-the-Wold is just 9 miles away, while Moreton-in-Marsh is just 13 miles from the cottage.

Notes for guests

Please note: The lodge is located off a country lane so passing traffic can be heard within the cottage.
Dogs: Due to the proximity of the road, please keep dogs on a lead whilst near the cottage. Please also keep dogs on a lead and under control around farm animals when exploring the Sherbourne Estate.
Heating: Night storage heating included.
Parking: Parking for up to two cars is adjacent to the lodge. The lodge is located at one of the entrances to the Sherbourne Park Estate. Although a countryside property and small car park, there may be traffic which passes between the lodge and the car parking area.
Garden: There is an enclosed courtyard garden with seating for two.
Offers: Guests will benefit from a late Sunday checkout of 4pm at this cottage.
Utilities: There is an ice box provided with the fridge.
Locally produced meat from National Trust herds can be pre-ordered for you to enjoy during your stay, please ask the contact centre for further details.
