Lanhydrock portrait tours
At weekends in November discover the secrets of the Lanhydrock portraits in special guided tours
The collection features some charming portraits of the Agar-Robartes children, who were often painted with their pets, as well as the eldest son, Tommy, who was an MP for South East Cornwall and St Austell but died at the Battle of Loos in 1915. Visitors can enjoy a range of watercolour, oils and chalk and charcoals brought to life.
The guided tours are on the hour between 11am and 4pm on 7-8, 14-15, 21-22 and 28-29 November, with the last tour at 3pm. Winter admission fees apply and members are free.
