Have an adventure at Lanhydrock

The adventure playground, next to the Park Cafe at Lanhydrock

The adventure playground is a great place for children to climb, swing, jump and let off steam. It's near to the car park, so it's just right for stretching out those limbs and letting off steam after a long car journey.

Where is it?

As well as being near to the car park and toilet facilities, the adventure playground is also right next to the Park Cafe and picnic spots. So you could enjoy a relaxing lunch or a coffee and a slice of cake while the little ones play away right in view.

More energy to use?

If you're feeling really energetic, the playground is opposite our cycle hire centre, so you could hire a bike and set off for some family fun on the trails through the woodland.

What else is there for families to do?

Or, for a more relaxing time, head down to the reception building and on to the garden, where in school holidays we have free outdoor trails for children to have fun with.

The house is definitely worth an explore if you've got time. You'll step back into the world of the Victorian Agar-Robartes family and their servants. There's a spotters trail for children and special Touch and Discover tables where they can get hands on with history.
