North Wales
Bryn Llywelyn, Anglesey
Anglesey Island has so much to discover, you'll never get tired of exploring the unspoilt coastline and rich heritage. Spot wildlife such as red squirrels and otters, or hire bikes and really put your pup through its paces. When you retreat to your hilltop hideaway, you'll enjoy views out towards the dramatic Llanlleiana Bay from your enclosed garden.
Pant Rhiw Cottage, Pwllheli
This secluded cottage offers the ultimate getaway. Perched on a hillside, within the grounds of the Plas-yn-Rhiw estate, you'll enjoy uninterrupted views of Hell's Mouth Bay. If you want a closer look, the beach itself is a short drive, and with four miles of dog-friendly sand, it's definitely worth the trip.
Chirk Home Farm Cottage, Wrexham
Spend your next holiday in the grounds of 700-year old Chirk Castle. With the cottage set just a few hundred metres from the castle itself, you and your four-legged friend will be able to explore the 480-acre estate long after the regular visitors have gone home. Beyond the boundary walls lies the Ceirog Valley and famous Offa's Dyke, so there's plenty to keep you busy.
House By The Dyke, Wrexham
This pet-friendly villa is nestled within the grounds of Chirk Castle and boasts an outdoor kennel and dog run. From the large terrace and seating area you can gaze down across the garden to Offa's Dyke beyond. A great base for exploring the area, you'll also be able to enjoy the Castle's grounds after hours.
Tal y Braich, Gwynedd
Set against a mountain backdrop, this charming, pet-friendly cottage offers a stunning location in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia). In the shadow of Tryfan peak and close to the Carneddau mountain range, it's perfect for adventurers and dog walkers. Inside, the cottage has heaps of Welsh charm, including a cosy woodburner for your dog to snuggle in front of after a long day exploring.
South Wales
Stackpole Quay Cottage 1, Pembrokeshire
One of a pair, Stackpole Quay Cottage 1 makes an ideal base for exploring Stackpole. The stretch of coastline that we protect is full of walking trails and stick-chasing opportunities. Take a stroll to Barafundle Bay and enjoy the white sands, where dogs are allowed to play throughout the year.
Treleddyd Fawr Cottage, Pembrokeshire
This traditional, pet-friendly Pembrokeshire cottage has been carefully restored by our conservation team, keeping many of its original features. Your dog might not appreciate the work that's gone into preserving the cottage, but the woodburner and coast path will surely be a big hit.
Castell Farmhouse, Pembrokeshire
This old farmhouse stands above Fishguard Bay with spectacular views out to sea. Lace your boots, grab a lead and follow one of the many paths that wind their way across this stretch of coastline. With an open fire, this cottage makes a great spot to curl up and watch the waves roll in.
Penparc, Carmarthenshire
Penparc stands on the very edge of Dinefwr Park and is surrounded by lush, green countryside. If the park doesn't leave you panting then the Brecon Beacons are close by, or a little further afield there are numerous dog-friendly beaches on the Gower Peninsular. The cottage itself boasts its own garden, so there's plenty of room to stretch those legs.
Caerllan, Ceredigion
As far as dog-friendly destinations go, you'll struggle to find one that beats Caerllan. With a large, enclosed garden you can enjoy a relaxing day at home, but with the dog-friendly beach of Cwmtydu less than a mile away, you'll be itching to explore. The beach is home to grey seals so there's even more reason to visit.
