About Chirk Home Farm Cottage

Stay in the grounds of 700-year-old Chirk Castle in this pretty stone cottage. It sits just a few hundred metres from the castle in its own enclosed garden. Inside reveals a bright and airy interior with room for four people and two dogs.

Make the most of your unique location and explore the parkland and gardens at your leisure. Book onto a guided tour of the castle and delve into its secrets – just ask at the ticket office for more details. Beyond the boundary walls, walking trails will lead you through the Ceiriog Valley and the remarkable 8th century defensive earthwork, Offa’s Dyke.

Further afield, the area around the cottage is home to some historic towns including Llangollen, Oswestry and Welshpool. Take a tour by car and discover the region’s rich cultural heritage.

Larger groups can also book Ty'r Stocmon, sleeping 4 people, and House by the Dyke, sleeping 5 people, both also close to Chirk Castle.
