Shopping at Nostell

Stop by the shop and find a treat to take home. Whether you’re looking for a souvenir or a gift for a friend, we have ranges to suit all tastes. Did you know that every penny you spend in the shop supports the conservation work at Nostell?

Donate your books to help support Nostell

In the Stables courtyard, just opposite the shop, we have a neatly tucked away secondhand book shop. It's a great space to have a minute relaxing or selecting something new for your bookcase. Enjoy a hot drink with a local bake from the Bite to Eat cafe while perusing our offer. Any money made contributes to the care of Nostell.

All donations of previously loved books are greatly appreciated to keep it stocked up. So when you're visiting bring any books you have finished with or if you're having a clear out, give us a call to arrange a good time to drop them in if you have more than a bag or box.

Crafted with dedication

Chris Boddy is a Yorkshire-based potter who has developed his distinct leaf pattern by using dried tree leaves. Benefitting from decades of practice behind the wheel Chris’s pottery is an excellent addition to any kitchen or a perfect gift for a home lover.

" It’s the creating of something from a lump of clay and seeing it grow in front of your eyes. It’s a thrill that never disappears really."
- Chris Boddy
