Shopping at Nostell
Hints of Nostell's age-old passion for horses are everywhere in the shop and second hand book shop, located within the stone walls of the courtyard beneath the gaze of the clock tower.
Let it Grow
Wild flower seed bombs, rustic bird houses and easy speed weeders will help you create a greenspace full of wildlife. Our peat-free plant range changes from season to season and our ornate plant stakes will help them flourish in your garden. Fruit and vegetables from our kitchen garden can also be found for donation through the shop at certain times of year.
Our delicious range of seasonal jams, chutneys, pickles and honey will be sure to alight the tastebuds, perfect to recreate a National Trust scone at home. We also have sweet treats for vegans and crumbly gluten-free biscuits, as well as the Yorkshire staple, Lottie Shaw’s delicious Parkin.
Blooms in the Wardrobe
We have a beautiful range of sustainably sourced scarves and bags, adorned with floral prints which have been inspired by the wild flower meadows at the Wimpole Estate. Our new range of stylish sunglasses are made from recycled plastic and are the perfect partner to a walk in the park on a sunny spring day.
The Second Hand Bookshop
Maureen and her team of volunteers keep every last inch of the second hand bookshop stocked with an array of reads for all ages and interests.
The extensive range relies on donations and is full of literary gems, from cookery books and fictional classics to fairytale stories and gardening guides.
Every bargain buy provides the perfect partner to a courtyard brew and helps keep Nostell special for everyone, as every penny raised goes back to support our work.
