The holidays are jam-packed with fun for families and children this summer. Get crafty by taking part in wood carving family workshops, or get closer to nature with our summer family friendly Bee Quest Trail, honeybees talks and after dark bat walks. Join the sport team if you would like to get active playing outdoor sport activities or just bring along a picnic to enjoy wonderful family outdoor theatre productions among roses.

New! Join us and get crafty with Amerton Arts Studio. Carve your very own wooden spoon with traditional greenwood-working tools and equipment. Sat 2 & Sun 3 July -10am, 12pm & 2pm. £20 per ticket

Bat walk for families (7+)

Bring your family along and borrow a bat detector for a walk around the park after dark to look for and listen to bats. Sat 23 July, 8.30pm-10pm & Sat 6 August, 8.15pm-9.45pm. Adults £5, children (7+) £3. Booking essential.

Honeybees and beekeeping talk & trail (7+)

How busy is a busy bee? What beekeepers do? Join our local beekeeper Alison to learn all about these wonderful insects and take away the Bee Quest trail to explore further and continue learning. Fri 3 June - 10am, 10.45am & 1pm, 1.45pm (£7 per child). Booking essential.
