Second-hand Barnyard Bookshop

Shelves of books, with two small tables with historical books on display

In our Bookshop there are hundreds of pre-loved books waiting for their new homes. There is a book for everyone here - so if you are an avid reader, looking to start or complete a collection, or considering a new hobby, pop in and see what can tempt you.

You could find the latest bestsellers or forgotten classics, photographic collections or wildly imaginative children’s tales to name but a few. There is no need to spend a fortune on reading, and the best part is every penny made by a second-hand book purchase goes towards important conservation or projects at Moseley Old Hall itself.

Feel free to pop into our bookshop whenver we are open - the bookshop is before our pay barrier, so there is no need to pay admission to visit it if you are not a National Trust member.

We rely on kind donations from the general public to keep the shelves stocked and by making a donation you are helping support our conservation work here at Wightwick.

We accept both hard and paperback books and equally accept fiction and non-fiction.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept DVDs, VHS, CD's or audio cassette tapes as these may carry age restrictions on them.

If you wish to make a donation please phone our reception between 11am and 4pm on 01902 625457 so that we can ensure that there is someone to receive your donation.
