This Heritage Weekend, join us at Moseley Old Hall for a pop-up talk led by one of our knowledgeable volunteers.

This talk will focus on the life of Catholic priest John Huddleston who sheltered here at Moseley for a while and who was present when Charles II came here in 1651. His later role at Charles‘s death bed in 1685. Learn how a chance discovery in a Liverpool bookshop led to an important book coming to Moseley.

Talks will be held at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm and 2pm.

Each talk will last approximately 20 minutes.

No extra cost for talks, no booking required but spaces are limited.

Please check in at Visitor Reception on arrival and you will be directed to the talk location in the Cowshed.

What to bring and wear

Please dress for the weather of the day, but the cowshed can be a little chilly.

Accessibility

The cowshed has step-free access, but is via cobbled ground and a grassed slope which may become slippery if wet.
