Eating and shopping at Mottisfont
Treat yourself to lunch or a tasty treat from one of our cafés while you visit. Don't forget to browse our shop, plant centre and collection of secondhand books too.
Where to eat
Whether you’re seeking a full meal or a light bite, we have a variety of different outlets to suit all cravings.
The Old Kitchen
Discover delicious, seasonal food and discover more of Mottisfont’s history in the Old Kitchen, located in the Victorian kitchens of our historic house.
The Coach House Café
This café is closed for redecoration from Monday 15th - Friday 19th January.
The Coach House Café in the Stables serves lighter bites. Try a bowl of soup, find hot and cold sandwiches to eat in or take away, and stock up on cakes and drinks.
Everything is served on high quality disposable tableware, all of which is composted or recycled. This café is very accessible for families, with seating both indoors and outside.
Where to shop
Our shop can be found in the Welcome Centre, conveniently close to the car park. It's a beautiful space to browse and escape the stress of the high street.
As well as exclusive National Trust winter ranges, we have a colourful variety of Kaffe Fassett products in stock, coinciding with our exhibition.
Next to the shop in the Welcome Centre, our plant sales area boasts a wide variety of seasonal plants for your own garden. If you're feeling inspired by Mottisfont's gardens, pop by to take home some of your own blooms.
That book you’ve always meant to read may be waiting for you in the well-stocked second-hand bookshop in the stables. Every penny taken here goes back to helping us with our projects and conservation work.
