House and gallery
There's so much to see at Mottisfont, from an 800 year old vaulted cellarium to Rex Whistler’s extraordinary drawing room.
Visit the gallery to see changing exhibitions throughout the year. The house also displays a permanent collection of 20th-century art.
Garden lovers will enjoy grounds designed by some of the greatest names in horticultural history. There's year-round interest, from spectacular spring bulbs to a colourful winter garden.
Mottisfont's walled gardens are home to a world famous old-fashioned rose collection created by horticulturalist Graham Stuart Thomas. Flowering once a year in late May - early June, these spectacular blooms are very popular with group visitors.
