Food glorious food
You can’t have a festival without food and drink. Visitors to Mount Stewart Conversations Festival will enjoy having their taste buds tantalised with a variety of pop-up restaurants and bars serving up the best in local hospitality.
Linen Hill Street Kitchen will be serving a delicious range of freshly prepared hot food including ‘Pig Island’ beer battered haddock, fresh local chips, tartare sauce; Henning’s 6oz steak burger, beetroot chutney, ‘Young Buck’ blue cheese dressing and Moyallon porchetta, Armagh Bramley Apple chutney with French Village Bakery roll.
There will be delicious savoury and sweet crepes freshly made to order by The Crepe Makers and coffee from Javaman Coffee.
In celebration of Northern Ireland’s Year of Food & Drink, Mi Casa will be tapping into some of the very best local suppliers, serving Pilsner and Pale Ale by Mourne Mountain Brewery and a premium selection of wines sourced by local wine merchant Harland Wines. The mobile bar will also serve a range of spirits, long summer drinks, soft drinks and speciality coffees using beans blended and roasted by local company 38 Espresso.
Gin lovers will appreciate the variety of speciality gin cocktails including Gin Fizz, Bramble, Gin and Mint and the classic Gin and Tonic. Also look out for Mia Casa’s quirky mobile horse box bar which will serve chilled Frizzant (draught Prosseco).
