Shopping at Osterley Park
The Stables Shop is brimming with high quality National Trust products, such as homewares and classic wool blankets, as well as locally sourced items. Our volunteer led second-hand bookshop across the courtyard also boasts a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, perfect for finding your next great read.
Situated in the Tudor Stable Block is the Stables Shop. Taking inspiration from iconic vistas and views from countrywide spaces and patterns and textiles through the centuries, we provide a seasonal range of products from home accessories to kitchenware. We have a range of sports and cycle accessories, perfect for using if you join our ParkRun, or take advantage of the cycle paths. For families we have classic toys and books for children, and event some treats for your four-legged friends.
Pop in to meet our friendly retail team who will help you find the perfect gift or store cupboard necessity or take home an Osterley souvenir to remind you of your visit. Every purchase you make goes directly towards the essential work we do to look after Osterley now and in the future.
Run by our friendly volunteers, the Second-hand Bookshop has a range of soft back fiction, history books, biographies, maps and guides, as well as children’s books, CDs and DVDs. We rely on our supporters’ kind donations, so please consider donating small quantities of books when you next visit us. The Bookshop helps us to fundraise approximately £15,000 every year, with every penny we raise supporting conservation projects at Osterley.
We’ve had a great summer in our second hand bookshop, raising over £1000. While we’ve had a lot of great donations of adult books, we are very short on children’s books. Between 20 September - 22 October 2021 when you donate any children’s books you will receive a voucher for 10% off a hot drink in the café.
- Donations can be made and vouchers collected from the Bookshop, Kiosk or car park.
Osterley grown plants
The Bookshop also sells a range of perennial and annual plants, all cultivated and grown organically in Osterley’s gardens and greenhouse. Our gardening team and nursey volunteers are always on hand to offer advice, or find that plant you admired in the gardens, so please ask at the Bookshop, we’ll be happy to help.
