Shopping at Osterley Park

The exterior of a Tudor stable block

The Stables Shop is brimming with high quality National Trust products, such as homewares and classic wool blankets, as well as locally sourced items. Our volunteer led second-hand bookshop across the courtyard also boasts a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, perfect for finding your next great read.

Stables Shop

Once the gardener’s storeroom, it is fitting that the Shop has a wonderful collection of beautiful ornaments and handy items for the garden.

For 2018 we have introduced a new Property Souvenir Collection, with beautiful imagery of Osterley, offering a range of conserves, tipples and nibbles, as well as a guidebook as the perfect souvenir of a great day out. We stock ice creams for warmer days, not forgetting the canine in your life with new leads and healthy dog treats.

Our seasonal ranges are designed by taking inspiration from the special places the National Trust protects. Spring’s ‘Valleys to Headlands’ is inspired by a hunt for adventure, featuring primroses and bluebells from Watersmeet and Glendurgon Garden in the watercolour prints on a variety of homewares.

Second-hand Bookshop

Run by our friendly volunteers, the Second-hand Bookshop has a plethora of soft back fiction, history books, biographies, maps and guides, as well as children’s books, CDs and DVDs.
We rely on our supporters’ kind donations, so please consider donating small quantities of books when you next visit us.

The Bookshop helps us to fundraise approximately £15,000 every year, with every penny we raise supporting conservation projects at Osterley.

Osterley grown plants

The Bookshop also sells a range of perennial and annual plants, all cultivated and grown organically in Osterley’s gardens and greenhouse.

Our gardening team and nursey volunteers are always on hand to offer advice, or find that plant you admired in the gardens, so please just ask at the Bookshop
