You’re welcome to bring a picnic and can sit anywhere in the gardens. There are a small number of table and chairs outside the Pantry Cafe as well as seating throughout the gardens.

To help us keep everyone safe, please take your litter home with you.

Doing our bit for the environment

At the National Trust we use Vegware packaging made from plants for our disposables, which means that our takeaway cups and lids are fully compostable, low carbon and completely free from plastic. We also sell reusable bamboo cups, or you can bring your own and receive a 25p discount off your next hot drink with us.
