Volunteering at Packwood
Surrounded by gardens and countryside Packwood is a place of dreams and adventure. Baron Ash created at Packwood his own private world where visitors would come to enjoy his vision of an English Country house. Packwood's volunteer team play a vital role in sharing the love of this beautiful property with others and bring these stories to life 363 days a year.
Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the property and we've got lots of interesting volunteer roles in our friendly and enthusiastic volunteer team. All of our volunteers play a vital role in helping visitors enjoy their time with us here at Packwood.
If you are interested in joining our team, now is a great time to start. We are now open 7 days a week and we are looking for fun, flexible and friendly people to join our team.
We are holding a volunteer recruitment day for various roles at Packwood on Sunday 18 March, 10am – 12pm. These drop in sessions are informal and allow you to learn about the various exciting roles we have on offer, so pop by for a chat and a cup of tea.
What our volunteers say about being part of the Packwood team
Sheila works in the shop and enjoys meeting and greeting people who are enjoying a day out, 'I particularly admire the garden borders in June and July, when the colours are fantastic.'
" One of the best things about being a volunteer, for me, is that you get to see the property through all the seasons. We’ve got a very warm and welcoming team which is the main reason I love to keep coming back."
