Autumn trail at Penrhyn Castle

Download our autumn trail

Pull on your wellies and get ready to have some mini autumn adventures here at Penrhyn Castle. You’re invited to look out for rooks, wave goodbye to our migrating seabirds and say hello to some fungi! Join Jay on a dash to collect acorns and snuffle like a Hedgehog looking for slugs to eat and homes to make. There’s also lots of crunchy, golden leaves to catch, chase, kick and collect from the lawns.

What refreshments are available?

We will be offering a limited range of takeaway hot and cold drinks and some light snacks including ice cream from the Stable Yard kiosk. We've introduced new safety measures including closure of our seating areas indoors but do offer outdoor tables and chairs, screens at our tills, and waymarked routes. We'll also only be accepting card payment. We look forward to welcoming you back and know you'll support us to make this a safe experience for everyone. Picnics are also welcome.
