A Winter's Trail at Petworth

Illustrations of the animals you'll meet on a Winter's Trail at Petworth House

Journey around the Pleasure Ground and help the woodland creatures of Petworth prepare for winter.

This trail ran in winter 2017/8, please check our website for all our current events.

With the possibility of snow and cold winter weather on its way, make your way around the Pleasure Ground solving poems and riddles to help the animals of Petworth prepare for winter.

From squirrels, hedgehogs and deer there's plenty of life at Petworth and they need some assistance to store plenty of food for the winter and make their beds ready to hibernate.

Linking in to the William Blake in Sussex: Visions of Albion exhibition, complete poems and make up some of your own as you spot trail boards along the route.

Help all the animals and take your completed trail back to reception to earn your reward.

This route is suitable for pushchairs but we recommend wrapping up warm and wearing suitable footwear.

Running 2 December to 25 March 2018, pick up your trail at reception for £3 per child. Normal admission prices apply.
