From the late 1700s and the early 1800s watercolour paintings became a notable aspect of British artistic achievement and was of particular importance to Turner.
Inspired by the Turner and the Age of British Watercolour exhibition we've kept the focus on all things British in the Audit Room Café with a menu that's not only delicious but sure to add to a great day out.
Visit the Audit Room Café this season for some tempting meals, drinks and snacks to enjoy with friends and family, open every day from 10am serving lunches from 12 noon until 2pm.
Relax with a cup of tea or barrista style coffee and enjoy a variety of tasty cooked meals.
For a quick bite to eat, on the menu we have a warmng soup perfect after a crisp winter walk as well as jacket potatoes, salads and sandwiches.
And of course where would the National Trust be without a cake? Enjoy a relaxing tea or coffee with a slice of cake.
