Don't miss our summer sale
We are making space for our exciting new autumn collection, so you'll find a selection of our popular summer 2019 range on sale now. Pop into our shop for a great bargain - when they're gone, they're gone!
Inspired by meadows and species-rich grasslands, this theme embraces the nature of shared spaces available to everyone and everything. These are places to stop and to think, to reenergise and to inspire.
Did you know that just 3% of the meadows that existed in the 1930s remain - 97% of meadows have disappeared. This decline is one of the biggest issues in the history of UK nature conservation. Every purchase you make goes back into looking after special places, including our meadows.
Celebrating the wildflowers of Sutton Lane Meadows in Wiltshire, look out for our style inpired by a haze of grass and wildflowers. Also in the range of patterns taken from the orchids of Plas Newydd in Wales and the grasses of the ancient hay meadows at Gibside Hall.
Support local businesses
We are proud to work closely with local craftspeople, farmers and food producers. Their products are a feast for all senses:
- Auntie Val’s preserves and chutneys
- Langham Brewery beers
- Cider from the English Cider Company
- Local honey from Petworth and Pagham Harbour hives
- Beverley Harris’ unique felt brooches
- Blended Therapies therapeutic aromatherapy products
- Glassware, garden ornaments and jewelry
With each purchase you help us support local jobs, causes and culture.
A keen bookworm? Pop into our two secondhand bookshops and you'll find a wide selection of books from non-fiction and fiction to children's. There's a lot to discover, with the shelves regularly updated you could find that out of print book that you've been searching for, new author to try, or just the perfect book to dive into. The bookshops are located in what was once part of the Estate Office (accessible by stairs) and the ground floor Stewards Room. Good quality donations are gratefully received and can be left at our Church Lodge Reception.
