The spring collection
Inspired by a hunt for adventure, 'Valleyes to Headlands' embraces the slowed down approach to living, appreciating gradual movement of nature. From rock formations formed over millions of years to seasonal, sporadic growth of wildflowers and shifting shores of coastline.
These designs have been influenced by the the Watersmeet wildflower trail in Devon, with its carpets of primroses, bluebells and callendine, as well as Glendurgan in Cornwall and its Tulip tree planted in the 1830s.
Get in to the Easter spirit with our range of National Trust chocolate. Why not try our popular caramel latte egg with cocoa nibs coffee beans? New to the range is a strawberry cocktail white chocolate egg that contains strawberry Bellini fudge with popping candy.
For the younger chocaholics we have chocolate bunnies and bags of drizzle eggs, as well as biscuits felt sheep and bunny toys.
Also new for this Easter you can also buy colourful decorations for your home. Highlights include an ornamental table top white twig tree, glass eggs to hang and wooden 'Happy Easter' decorations.
If you are a fan of honey, be sure to stop by on Tuesday 3 April, 11am to 3pm, for honey tastings from Hive & Keeper. They'll be testing their honeys from Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey. Also new and on sale from Tuesday 3 April is our very own Petworth honey.
Our Mansion shop will delight you with gifts and books that reflect Petworth's unique art collecton, open 11am to 4:30pm.
Support local businesses
We have lots of items made locally available in our shops. Be sure to look out for the wooden bowls made from the wood of fallen trees collected from the estate by local woodturner, Tim Lawson.
One of our staff here at Petworth also makes felt brooches, available to buy at Petworth. Beverley Harris gets her inspiration from different cultures around the world but her love of nature, especially from the wildlife here at Petworth, is clear. Each piece of felt is different so you can be sure that your brooch is entirely unique.
A keen bookworm? Pop into the secondhand bookshop in what was once part of the Estate Office located off the Servants' Quarters corridor and pick up a bargain book. Feel free to to also drop in and donate any unwanted books.
