Servants' Quarters Gift Shop
Formally the Upper Servants' Dining Room, our shop has plenty of great gifts; exclusive National Trust ranges as well as a wonderful selection of local products, open 10am to 5pm.
We stock a large range of books including local maps and walks, great for learning that little bit more about your visit and exploring the area.
Take home some locally made wine, cider, preserves and biscuits. We often have samples to taste in the shop so make sure to stop by to see what's available.

Our Autumn/Winter Collection, “Grain to Glory”
Discover designs inspired by the slow craft and the maker's hand. The 'Grain to Glory' collection explores the delicately crafted woodwork found in many National Trust properties that have been so carefully maintained and restored.
From Grinling Gibbons' intricate limewood carvings found here at Petworth House, to the opulent carved ceilings at Knightshayes in Devon, the range celebrates rich textures and interesting motifs. Vibrant tones such as burgundy anchor the seasonal colour and explore the richness of inspiration found at our landscapes and properties.

A keen bookworm? Pop into our two secondhand bookshops and you'll find a wide selection of books from non-fiction and fiction to children's. There's a lot to discover, with the shelves regularly updated you could find that out of print book that you've been searching for, new author to try, or just the perfect book to dive into. The bookshops are located in what was once part of the Estate Office (accessible by stairs) and the ground floor Stewards Room. Good quality donations are gratefully received and can be left at our Church Lodge Reception.
