Shopping at Petworth House

Take inspiration from Petworth's unique art collection and countryside landscape to find the perfect mementos to take home in our gift shop. You’ll find a range of art inspired gifts, stylish homeware, souvenirs, gardening must-haves, books to browse and locally produced products.

In line with government guidance, visitors are required to wear a face covering in indoor spaces, unless exempt. Please bring one along with you.

Entry tickets are required to enter the property and the shop. To avoid disappointment please book in advance, especially at busier times such as weekends, school holidays and bank holidays. Where space is available on weekdays, pre-booking isn’t always necessary, however if you do not book we cannot guarantee admission.

Find an exclusive range of souvenirs to remind you of your visit to Petworth. From tote bags, magnets and notebooks to tea towels, they feature an intricate design by Brighton-based artist Sarah Jones.

Stylish homeware and clothing

Take a look at the range of homeware on offer from cushions and blankets to scented candles and crockery adorned with the National Trust’s Riverlands design. There’s also printed scarfs and bags in various colours, along with clothing for outdoor adventures such as walking socks, gloves and hats.

Celebrating local makers and suppliers

Local products are available to purchase in the Servant’s Quarters shop, including these colourful felt broaches made by Beverley Harris, and drawn with freemachine embroidery.

Secondhand bookshop

Pop into our secondhand bookshop located on the ground floor directly opposite the Servants’ Quarters Shop, open from 10am-4:30pm. Here, you'll find a wide selection of books from non-fiction to fiction and children's. The shelves are regularly refreshed, so have a browse to discover that out of print novel you’ve been searching for, a much-loved classic or a new author to enjoy.

The Petworth House shop will be opening soon. Here, you’ll find a range of art books in the shop complementing the artworks themselves in Petworth House, along with a selection of art supplies for you to create your own future masterpiece.
