Summer games to borrow at Petworth

Children playing games at Petworth House and Park

Nothing beats a bit of fresh air and a run around. No deposit necessary and available on dry days over the summer holidays, stop by the Play Tent near the House and Servants' Quarters and borrow some games to play with the family.

We have classic games that parents or grandparents can teach the younger generations how to play such as skittles, croquet and cricket but there are also some relatively new games like Spike Ball that the whole group can have fun learning together.

Have a competition seeing who can keep up their hula hoop for the longest or have a tense game of giant jenga.

Feeling like a board game instead? Then lay out our giant matt and have a go at snakes and ladders.

The summer games are free to borrow and no deposit is required but please do treat the equipment with respect for other families to use.
