A summer of science activities at Petworth House

Elizabeth Ilive lived at Petworth House in the 1780s, and while she lived here she installed a laboratory in the house, she studied the growth of potatoes and she created an invention. Inspired by her achievements in science, we have a whole host of science based activities for families to play at Petworth House over the summer holidays.
