Petworth Park Inspired: The Art of Landscape exhibition

As part of the celebrations marking 300 years since the birth of Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, this exhibition in November 2016 explored the work that went in to creating 'Capability' Brown's landscape project and demonstrates how his masterpiece went on to inspire great artwork in others.

As part of the 300 year anniversary of the birth of Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, the 2016 summer exhibition Petworth Park Revealed: The Naked Landscape, explored the scale and impact of Capability Browns’ work at Petworth using multi media tools drawn from three years of archaeological investigations.
