Visiting Plas yn Rhiw with your dog

Dog walking through the parkland on a lead

Here's a guide for what to expect when bringing your four-legged friend to Plas yn Rhiw.

Where can my dog go?

Dogs are welcome to explore the paths of the lower woodland (behind the visitor reception and toilets) on a short lead. They are also welcome at the courtyard of the tearoom on a lead.

Where can’t my dog go?

Assistance dogs only in the main garden, upper woodland, orchard and house.

What do I need to be aware of at Plas yn Rhiw?

To make sure everyone has an enjoyable day please follow our Canine Code:

· Take the lead: help reduce the chance of your pup disturbing wildlife by keeping them on a lead.

 · Scoop that poop: bag it and bin it to keep your favourite places beautiful.

· Paws for thought: look out for information signs and take extra care on cliff paths.

· Be on the ball: not everyone loves dogs, so keep them close by.

Facilities available for my dog:

There are water bowls available outside the visitor reception and tea-room courtyard. There is one dog bin on site, located at the start of the lower woodland trails (just after the toilet block).
