Apprentice House

Head over to the Apprentice House to find out what Christmas was like at home for the apprentice children. Here you can find out about the annual school prize giving and try a slice of the currant loaf given to apprentices as a treat on Christmas Day?

Caught a winter sniffle? Then pop into the Apprentice House kitchen where the doctor is in and ready to tell you all about the remedies used throughout the festive season.

Christmas traditions

The mill yard presents a festive scene with decorations including wreaths, lights and of course the Christmas tree. Outside, brass bands perform your favourite carols, all whilst enjoying a warm mince pie and delicious hot drink.

Father Christmas visits are available to book on the day (£7 per child).
