Rainham Hall: After Hours
Rainham Hall 'After Hours' is a monthly series of special late night openings. Explore the Hall and enjoy a different theme each month.
Discover a world of eighteenth century frivolity at Rainham Hall. Each month we will open our doors for ‘Rainham Hall: After Hours.’ Our current ‘inhabitant’, Captain John Harle (1688-1742), was a gentleman of the eighteenth century, and before moving to Rainham he frequented the taverns and coffee houses of London. The after-hours events will explore a different theme each month - from talks about the history of coffee to gin tasting - so come and discover more about the life of John Harle and the age he lived in…and have some fun in the process.
