After hours: coffee evening

Eighteenth century Lloyd's coffee house reimagined at Rainham Hall

Do you know the difference between a flat white and a latte? Coffee through the ages will be the theme for this after hours event, the first in a series of monthly lates.

Discover why coffee in the eighteenth century was described as the essence of soot, and yet despite this coffee houses were extremely popular. On Thursday 28 April, 6-9pm, we'll be hosting a series of mini talks, demonstrations and tastings of coffee through the ages. Don't worry though as we'll also brew up some cutting edge alternatives.

Tickets: £12 each. Booking is essential. See here for full details and book online.
