Do you love making things? Join us for our regular programme of activities including craft and chat sessions on Wednesday afternoons, demonstrations and meet our makers in residence.
Discover new craft techniques through our programme of activities at Rainham Hall. Over 60% of the exhibits inside the Hall today were created via community co-curation and co-creation. Many talented people including textile artists, model makers and furniture makers helped to bring the history to life.
Join us in the Stables Cafe on Wednesdays, 2-4pm, for our craft and chat sessions. Bring along your own craft project and meet others with a passion for all things craft related. It's a great way to meet new people and exchange ideas.
The Material Girls, our makers in residence, demonstrate their skills in embroidery every second Friday of the month to our Hall visitors. Find out how they created beautiful textile art pieces on display on the second floor of the Hall.
Do you have a special craft talent? We're always keen to hear from people who love demonstrating their craft skills and would like to do so at Rainham Hall. Feel free to email us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Regular demonstrations and other making events will be taking place throughout the year. Don't forget to check out our events page here.
