Open House London at Rainham Hall

Open House London is a celebration of the capital's architecture, enabling free public access to amazing places like Rainham Hall.

Built in 1729, Rainham Hall is Grade II* listed building and a remarkably fine example of a Queen Anne style merchant's house. Following a major £2.5 million conservation and interpretation project, the Hall opened fully to the public in 2015. The Hall, Stables and surrounding landscaping has undergone a significant transformation, led by Julian Harraps Architects and Bakers of Danbury.

We'll be offering free access to the Ground Floor and First Floor on Saturday 22 September 2018 11am-4pm, to celebrate Open House. It's the perfect opportunity to take a glimpse a Rainham Hall's Georgian features including the original central staircase, wall panelling, and Trompe l'oeil wall paintings.
