Museums at Night: Stormy seas and starry skies

Boat in a bath with stars in the sky

As part of the Museums at Night Festival, Rainham Hall invited visitors after hours one weekend in 2016.

Visitors were invited to immerse themselves in the life and times of eighteenth century sea merchant Captain John Harle, to discover the world of stormy seas and starry skies. Please note this is a past event.

For the nights of Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May 2016, Rainham Hall opened its doors after hours. There were performances from the Front of House Theatre Company taking place all over the Hall. In the Gardens, Havering Astronomical Society offered the chance to see the stars above Rainham Hall.
