Volunteering at Rainham Hall is all about trying out new things and being part of the community. If you have an interest in bringing the Hall to life for a diverse range of visitors, read on to find out more about the range of opportunities available and how you could join in.

We’re always on the lookout for new people to join our team here at Rainham Hall. Have you got a skill you’d like to share? Maybe you’re looking for a new challenge? There are lots of opportunities to get involved, whether your passion is history or gardening! You can donate your time, expertise and enthusiasm while developing new skills and meeting new people.

Visitors appreciate the personal touch our volunteers bring to their day and we appreciate the support and loyalty our volunteers give to Rainham Hall. We welcome enquiries from people of all ages and backgrounds.

Current opportunities

From the day to day running and maintenance of the Hall and Gardens, to leading tours for groups, our volunteers make it possible for Rainham Hall to open to the public.

We're currently seeking people to help in the following areas:

Visitor Welcome volunteering

Garden volunteering

Engagement volunteering

We also have photography volunteers, an oral history team, and a flower arranging team that recruit seasonally; please get in touch if you are interested in these roles.
