The Lock keeper's cafe at Dapdune Wharf
Stop by after a boat trip or a lovely towpath walk to relax with a bite to eat from our selection of pastries, cakes, snacks or sandwiches. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
Treat yourself at the Lock keeper’s cafe
We serve barista style coffees and, of course, it wouldn’t be a visit to the National Trust without sampling a slice of cake. Our tea-room is no exception, serving our traditional round cakes and tray bakes. Choose from delicious treats such as Victoria sponge, fruit scones and cheese scones along with brownies and flapjacks.
Don’t forget your cup
Every time you present a reusable cup when you order a hot drink, we’ll give you 25p off as a thank you for helping the environment by reducing the number of disposable cups used. This promotion replaces the hot drinks loyalty card scheme, which closed in February 2021.
Come and try a selection of flavours of our locally sourced Jude’s scoop and tub ice cream. Which will become your new favourite flavour?
Choose from our kid’s boxes packed with snacks, fruit and a sandwich. High chairs are available.
We endeavour to provide choices to suit a range of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free food. If you have a food intolerance or allergy, please ask a member of our team about suitable items on the menu.
Thursday- Monday 11am-5pm*
*(We’re open on Bank holidays and 7 days a week during school holidays)
Thanks for your support
Every item you buy in the Lock keeper’s helps us to continue to look after River Wey and Dapdune Wharf – thank you.
