The Coach House Tearoom at Sheffield Park
From hot and cold meals to traditional cream teas, all food is prepared on site using fresh ingredients and lots of care.
Sit awhile in our tearoom
Set within the original Victorian brick Coach House that once served the mansion, our tearoom offers plenty of choice for all.
Children's lunch boxes and hot meals are available as well as bottle and baby-food warming facilities. There is plenty of seating both indoors and out. Oak Hall is perfect for the winter when it is warmed by the log burner, while our Garden Room lends itself to sunny days with french windows opening up onto our pretty tearoom terrace, or the tables and chairs outside the secondhand bookshop.
The tea-room is open from 10am every day and serves hot meals between 12pm and 2.30pm. Our team are also happy to help with any special dietary requirements - just ask at the counter when you visit.
During our busy times, you will also find drinks and light snacks available from The Pantry (next to the Secondhand bookshop) and The Shant (in the garden). Offering a smaller selection of sandwiches, crips, cakes, snacks and hot and cold drinks, you're never too far from a bite to eat.
Fancy an ice cream? Then look out for the Jude's ice cream barrow in the garden, the freezer in the tearoom and the one outside the shop at visitor reception. These locally made, natural ice creams are not only great tasting, but also come in some unusual flavours that just have to be tried to be savoured.
Of course, no visit to a National Trust property is complete without a freshly baked scone or a slice of cake. There's always a wide selection to choose from, all freshly baked on the premises, as well as a few gluten-free options. Take your pick and savour each mouthful with a freshly brewed tea or coffee.
