An Ideal base
The town of Sheringham is a five minute car ride away, with a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and a railway connection to Norwich. Take a trip on the North Norfolk Steam Railway which runs through the park. Felbrigg Hall is five miles away and you can access Norfolk coastal path from the northern boundary of the park.
Enjoy a walk
Walk out from the front door to experience Humphry Repton's favourite work. There are 1,000 acres of woodland, wild garden, parkland and cliff top to explore. Take a two mile walk down to the cliff top, climb the gazebo tower on the way for unrivalled views of the North Norfolk coastline.

Cart Lodge Barns
An ideal setting for a holiday; you can park your car and forget about it. A sandy beach is just a 20 minute walk away, the 1,000 acres of woodland and gardens that make up Sheringham Park are practically your back garden. There are miles of marked trails across the estate that can be explored on foot or by bike and a café for treats along the way. Look out for the three species of deer that use the park.

Set on the first floor of the barn complex on the edge of the park. The exposed beams give this property lots of character and the relaxed, informal layout makes it popular with families. As you relax outside a highlight will be hearing the North Norfolk steam railway that runs along the cliff tops or catching a glimpse of the resident barn owl.
2 Cart Lodge
Set over two floors, this cosy accommodation is the ideal location for a romantic holiday for two. You can sit outside the barns enjoying the peaceful setting while keeping an eye out for the resident barn owl or at night delve into a spot of star gazing. The nearest sandy beach and the seaside resort of Sheringham is just a pleasant twenty minute walk.

Set over two floors this is the ideal base for two. From the kitchen you have distant sea views encouraging you to follow the track to the beach across fields and the cliff tops. There is something special about sitting outside and enjoying a morning coffee in this tranquil setting with the sound of a steam train crossing the estate.

There is nothing better than waking to the view across the fields to the sea, especially when a steam train crosses the horizon on the famous North Norfolk steam railway.
