An owl in Great Wood, Keswick, Derwentwater, Cumbria

The hedgerows are full of berries, spiders are weaving there webs and tawny owls are making themselves heard as darkness falls. Take part in our events this October half term to make the most of what autumn has to offer

Night Hike
Friday 20th October 18:00 – 20:00

Do you dare to take a walk in the woods at night? We’ll go out as night falls to see what’s stirring after the sun sets.

The new moon at the end of the week will make this a dark night, suitable for star gazing if conditions allow.  Tawny Owls are also particularly active in the Park at this time of the year.
