Summer Family Fun at Sheringham Park
Whether you want somewhere for the children to run off some energy or to discover something new we think you can find it here at Sheringham Park.
Call in the visitor centre on your arrival and grab a 50 Things to do before you’re 11 ¾ scrapbook. It has loads of ideas of what to do as you walk around the park.
You can also borrow a tracker pack which has a bug hunting kit, identification books and a pair of binoculars. For the technically minded you can take out a GPS to hunt for the 4 geo-caches we have hidden in the park.
We also have a full programme of planned activities throughout August, some of them you can just drop in, others you do need to book as places are limited.
Things to Do Mondays – Every Monday during August free drop in activities including hunting for bugs, discovering what's in a pond, den building and wild art.
Bat walks – Experience the world of bats as night falls in the park. Also look out for our family friendly batty bats & mad moths night
Minibeast Madness – Hunt for the bugs and then get up close and personal by examining them under a microscope.
Family Survival School – Hone your survival skills with a bitesize bushcraft adventure.
Rock Pool Ranger – Explore tidal pools and beach to find some amazing marine creatures
