Winter at Sissinghurst Castle Garden
Winter opening of the garden kicks off from Saturday 2 November. Every weekend throughout winter the garden will be open for visitors to see the bare bones of the garden and enjoy a guided tour of south cottage.
Winter weekend garden opening
Every Saturday and Sunday, 2 November - 6 March
Discover the bare beauty of the garden in winter and the structure which provides the frame work for abundant planting later in the year every weekend. Sissinghurst is famous as the epitome of the English Garden; a result of the creative tension between the formal design of Harold Nicolson and the exuberant planting of Vita Sackville-West. Walk at your leisure around parts of the garden not normally open at this time of year to discover the structure and architecture at its best.
Leading up to the festive period we have a few notable dates for your diaries. Take a look below to see what's going on in the run up to Christmas and what you can do during your next visit to Sissinghurst.
