The signs of spring are everywhere you look in the historic garden at Ham. Walk among English bluebells and primroses, see avenues of trees popping into bud and sunny-faced daffodils brightening floral spaces; as all around colourful new life bursts up to greet you.
Ham’s 17th century walled kitchen garden is productive and stunning all year round. Fruit, vegetables and flowers make for colourful companions - then we use organic principles to encourage a wide range of wildlife and plants to thrive here.
In the farthest corner of the grounds, Ham House’s Wilderness Garden is protected by a mile of high hornbeam hedge. Take a meandering walk, find your own place to stop and enjoy the woodland drifts and colourful plantings.
Plants are at the very heart of Sissinghurst and our nursery is the hub of the garden. Find out more about this integral part of our work here and how you could take a little piece of Sissinghurst home with you.
