Room Guide 

If only these walls could talk! That’s why our volunteer Room Guides make such a difference. They’re passionate about family stories, art and interiors, and love making people feel at home. They are cheerful, friendly and outgoing individuals. Currently, we're especially looking for room guides to join us on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sundays, 12pm-5pm.

Kitchen Gardener 

Now, more than ever, we all need our five a day! Kitchen gardeners will help make sure that our visitors stay healthy by sowing, harvesting and preparing delicious fruit and veg for our restaurant or for our popular fruit and veg stall. From plot to plate, you'll see it all happen at Speke Hall. Please note this role is only available on Mondays.

Bookshop Volunteer 

Our second-hand bookshop at Speke Hall helps raise much needed funds to support the conservation work we do in the house and across the gardens and estate. This role requires great customer service and contributing to the checking, pricing, display and selling of books.

Calling all historic housekeepers! We're looking for people with an interest in historic items, art and interiors to help us look after Speke Hall. From dusting and polishing to updating records, you'll get up close and personal with the collections we care for.
