You no longer need to pre-book your visit. The gardens, grounds, restaurant & play areas are open every day and the house is open Wednesday-Sunday. As we continue to reopen the house, we may close the first floor for staffing or conservation reasons.

Step inside the house 

You can now explore the house between Wednesday-Sunday, 12.30pm-5pm (last entry at 4.15pm). Step into the Tudor mansion to discover five centuries of stories and see how its past residents lived. Queues to enter are likely on busy days and some rooms or the first floor may be closed at short notice. Please read this article carefully so you know what to expect from your visit.
