Volunteering at Stourhead

A group of volunteers enjoying a cup of tea

There are so many reasons to volunteer and everyone has their own. Whether you want to learn something new, improve your CV, make new friends or just give something back. We have a great variety of opportunities on offer in the garden, the house and in visitor reception at Stourhead in Wiltshire.

What to expect when you join the team:
All volunteers are welcomed with an induction to Stourhead and to the team they will be volunteering with. We’ll make sure you are given all the information that you need to feel supported in your role.

Volunteering can be rewarding and great fun. Each year we offer a wide range of social events for our team, to relax and get to know each other, from our Christmas and summer parties to quizzes and outings. We also offer a programme of talks throughout the year so there’s always an opportunity to learn something new.

" I really enjoy interacting with our visitors in the hope of making their trip to Stourhead a memorable one."
