Easter egg hunts at Sutton Hoo

Daffodils outside Tranmer House

Join us for an Easter adventure in nature at Sutton Hoo. Discover our family-friendly trail with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end. We know how much joy our Easter egg trails bring to our visitors each year and we hope this year will be the same. However, we ask that you support your local property and tickets must be booked in advance.

Easter adventures in nature

Friday 2 April - Sunday 11 April (whilst stocks last), 10am - 3pm

Have you ever moved like a bird or curled up like an egg? Join us for an exciting adventure in nature this Easter and spot signs of spring across the Sutton Hoo estate. Once you have purchased your trail pack from our Visitor Welcome team, head across the courtyard where you will find the first trail point amongst the trees before you reach Tranmer House. The route will take you through woodland, in the foosteps of Anglo-Saxon ancestors past the Royal Burial Ground and back up the valley finishing at the courtyard. Please be aware that not all of the route is wheelchair accessible.

Book your visit

You don’t need to book your Easter trails, but you will need to book your Easter visit. To manage visitor numbers so that social distancing can be ensured for the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors, the pre-booking system still applies. Booking will provide access to the property, not the Easter adventures in nature trail, which can be purchased on the day.

Tickets are released every Friday > https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/sutton-hoo/whats-on
