If you prefer getting out and about outdoors, join us in looking after all 245 acres of Sutton Hoo with our Landscape Conservation team. From taming the extensive bracken across the site, maintaining the paths and woodlands to wildlife conservation, there is so much to get involved with in caring for our unique environment.

‘A Landscape Speaks’ is a brand new oral history project aiming to uncover and capture different perspectives of this internationally significant archaeological site, where there is more than meets the eye (and ear). Working with the University of Suffolk, we are looking for volunteers to help us tell our story in these new and exciting ways.
