The Dig is a new Netflix film, based on the novel of the same title by John Preston. Following the films release, we’ve seen an overwhelming increase in interest in Sutton Hoo. Here you can discover more about the true story behind the excavation of the Great Ship Burial and if you’re planning on visiting the site, we’d recommend coming in the afternoon, when we’re a little quieter.
