Our woodland walk and wild garden are the perfect places to explore different types of trees including yews, hollies and cedars.

No. 2 Roll down a really big hill

Our sunken garden has the perfect hill for you to roll down. Why not have a race with your friends and see how much speed you can build up down the hill.

No. 26 Hunt for fossils

Did you know that the walls of Upton House are built of local ironstone which was formed in warm, shallow Jurassic seas? If you have a look at the walls to the rear of the property, you will spot the fossilised remains of ancient sea shells in the rock.

Get down on your hands and knees and investigate the logs and bushes on the woodland walk and see if you can find a creepy crawly to befriend.
