Winnie-the-Pooh Storytelling with Jane Riordan

Celebrate 100 years of Winnie‑the‑Pooh with a very special storytelling event at Anglesey Abbey.

  • Booking essential
  • Free event (admission applies)

Join acclaimed author Jane Riordan as she invites families on a magical adventure to the Hundred Acre Wood, bringing Pooh and friends to life through a joyful storytime session.

During the session, children will enjoy a specially chosen story from the brand new Winnie-the-Pooh: A Little Boy and His Bear and discover how stories are created. After each session, there will be an opportunity to purchase the beautiful new editions of Winnie-the-Pooh: A Little Boy and His Bear, Winnie the Pooh: Once There Was a Bear and Winnie the Pooh: Tales from the Forest, and have them signed by Jane.

Suitable for ages 4+.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the size of the Lower Gallery, only one adult per child ticket can attend.

If you have any access requirements, please contact us before your visit. We’d be very happy to help make sure your family has the best possible experience.

Please note: normal admission to Anglesey Abbey applies and is not included in this ticket. The house is a 10–15 minute walk from the visitor centre, so please allow plenty of time to reach the Lower Gallery. Late entry cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the event.
