Alderley Edge and Cheshire Countryside

Dramatic red sandstone escarpment, with impressive views

Macclesfield Road, Nether Alderley, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 4UB

The view across the countryside from the sandstone escarpment of Alderley Edge, Cheshire. There are rocks and trees at the edge of a steep descent, and countryside stretches ahead towards the horizon.

Important notice

Please be aware that the permissive path that connects to Hare Hill will be closed from Alder Wood to Hare Hill, from the 20th May. This is to allow the cattle and their new calves time to settle. We hope to re-open as soon as we can. Thank you.
